The whole world has come to a standstill. This is indeed a pathetic state of affairs. However, we are hopeful of a strong recovery from this crisis.

To date, everyone is doing their part to respond to the pandemic COVID 19. As a company, we’ve been wondering what we can do to also contribute and make a difference amidst the crisis.

Without questionable doubt, our priority is to ensure the safety of our employees, clients and the community at large; we believe there is still more that can be done.

Grounded with the belief, Sahara Ventures has launched the initiative called #GrowthInTheCrisis. This initiative is a series of publications, blog posts, insight surveys, and virtual meetups to share expertise and learn from each other on how we can best navigate the COVID19 crisis as stakeholders working in the innovation, technology and entrepreneurship ecosystem in Africa.

Our special emphasis is on small businesses (SMEs and Startups). We will also be exploring the digital economy (gig and platform) as tools to help youth and businesses navigate through the crisis.

You can follow the initiative and access all the tools and resources via all the social media platforms through #GrowtInTheCrisis and on the official page for the initiative here

There is more…

All the videos of Startup School TZ can be accessed here. Our latest reports can be downloaded here and you can now work with Sahara as a consultant by registering on our database here. We hope these tools and resources will be beneficial to you and your teams. As we earlier stated, we look forward to a strong recovery from this crisis.

You can email us if you are looking to partner with us in this initiative.
